并侵犯人体的深处，从而产生疾病。高明的医生，往往善于早期诊断，一旦发现邪气刚刚侵犯皮肤的时候，就去马上治疗，以便于把病情截留在早期，使其不得由表入里，由浅入深。《黄帝内经》当中说的“肺之合，皮也，其荣毛也”其实指的是皮毛归属于肺，这包括两方面：一方面，肺主宣发，可将水谷等精微物质，以及呼吸的清气，都散发到全身，直至皮毛，而肺也控制着我们皮肤的汗孔，调节着汗孔的开与合;另一方面，人在得病时，身体发冷，起鸡皮疙瘩，并产生发热、咳嗽，嗓子疼，这其实是邪气由浅、由皮毛侵犯到了肺，使肺的呼吸产生异常
